MS Charlotte Mary Yonge Fellowship

Dear Miss Cole1
I am much obliged for your book which I am sure I shall read with much interest as the fruit of so many thoughts

I hear from Mrs Montgomery Moore from Rawal Pindee which at least is near that beautiful Cashmere though she never will be happy in India.

Elizabeth is at Dittisham2

yours sincerely
C M Yonge

1Another letter exists, evidently to the same Miss Cole who was a friend of the Colborne family, dated 17 March [1860s?]. On the evidence of this letter, she may have been Nina Cole, author of Meditations on the Song of Songs (1874), a volume edited by the Rev. George Cosby White.
2The Rector of Dittisham was the Rev. and Hon. Graham Colborne, brother of Jane Montgomery Moore and Elizabeth Colborne.
