My dear Miss Bennett1

The work on the retable is all right, but as the stuff is of the same length as the superfrontal it also wants taking in at the corners. Of course we could do this at home and I am not sure that I should have sent it, but I desired the Altar cloth to be packed and both sent together. So perhaps it would be best to take it in a little, for it looks untidy as it is.

I am very sorry to have given all this trouble. Our Altar is a small one and cannot be made larger because of the place into which it fits.

Yours sincerely
C M Yonge
