1The Rt. Rev. George Francis Popham Blyth (1832–1914), bishop of Jerusalem and the East, had founded the Jerusalem and the East Mission Fund in 1890.

2On 3 October 1893 a cheque for £5 10s. was recorded as being paid from CMY’s account at Hoare’s to the Jerusalem & East Mission Fund.
