MS Bodleian Library, Oxford: MS English Letters: e.174 ff 1

Dear Mr Bullock,
I do not know Canterbury well enough to attempt it. I have only seen it three times cursorily once on the day of the Archbishop’s installation- the best person to undertake it would be

Miss Jenner1
Preston Vicarage
Wingham
Dover

Bishop Jenner’s daughter who knows the Cathedral well and has a good deal of power of writing

I think I could do Salisbury

Yours truly
C M Yonge

1Bishop Jenner had four daughters of whom Amabel Jenner (b.1876/7), who published plays and fiction, seems the most likely to be referred to here. Bullock had evidently asked CMY to contribute an account of Canterbury Cathedral to his Daily Lections project.
