MS Seymour Public Library, Auburn, New York1

Dear Madam
I have desired a few of my village books to be sent to you – I cannot do more as I have a good deal on my hands here, and all the books suitable for giving away are absorbed by needs at hand

yours truly
C M Yonge

1The transcription was kindly supplied by Mr Stephen C. Erskine, the Librarian. If the date is correct it is a very late letter indeed since CMY died on 24 March. It is uncharacteristic of her to give only the month.
