Elder sister of
Anne Baker, she was the daughter of Major Thomas Richard Baker (1802-1884), J.P., 7th Fusiliers, Rtd. and Mary Frances Anderson Morshead (d. 1843), whose grandmother Elizabeth Yonge was a sister of CMY's grandfather. [LG 1906 Baker of Bayfordbury for parents]
