Narrative Daylight attack on Aboriginal camp led by two squatters on horseback (in retaliation for taking sheep) where about 60 men, women and children were swimming in the creek. They were all shot. Details of the massacre were given to Blomfield by Aboriginal Elder Victor Shepherd. Another account of the massacre is provided by Jack McLaren, who lived with an Aboriginal group for eight years.
