Narrative Following the massacre of twelve Aboriginal people at Callandoon station by squatter James Mark and a detachment of native police in 1846, Mark continued his rampage with a posse of stockmen (in retaliation for the killing of his son) into 1847 and shot a further 12 Aboriginal people at Umbercollie station.
