| Narrative | District Constable Adam Amos and party carried out the massacre after Musquito, the Sydney Aborigine, and 60 Aborigines from the ‘Tame Mob’ killed two servants of Silas Gatehouse on 15 Nov 1823 and for Black Jack killing 2 servants of Andrew Gatehouse at Grindstone Bay. Musquito and Black Jack were later arrested and charged with murder, convicted and hanged. |
