Narrative In reprisal for Aboriginal warriors killing a number of settlers in the Port Lincoln district in 1842, the SA govt sent a detachment of soldiers to the region to track down the perpetrators. In early May there was a 'collision' at Pillaworta station & an unknown number of Aboriginal people were killed with no casualties among the soldiers.
