Dear Sir1

I think it would be well to send me a set of sheets of What to Read, that I might add to them or cancel them on occasion. I know there are some good books of this winter not added, and Goldhanger Woods,2 and I have not seen a sheet since before Christmas. I am afraid the books may be forgotten and omitted if I do not set them down soon

1Duncan was her usual correspondent at the National Society, the publishers of What Books to Lend and What to Give (1887), but she usually called him Mr Duncan.
2Mary and Catherine Lee, Goldhanger Woods: A Child's Romance (London: National Society 1886). Mary Lee had collaborated with CMY on The Miz Maze (1883).
